Resident Company
Dance Explosion's Company is made up of a diverse mix of high-level performers from various dance disciplines focused on developing new and innovative performance works. The Company's mission is to enrich and empower the local community by raising the bar on dance excellence. This is accomplished through the Company's particular style, which provides a unique blend of the hot rhythms and power of hip hop, jazz, tap and Latin dance, the elegance of lyrical, ballet, ballroom, and contemporary dance, and the historic culture of Hawaiian and Tahitian dance. The Company performs throughout Charlottesville and the surrounding areas at outreach events, community festivals, charitable galas, Hawaiian luaus, and other special events for all ages, and is available for performances by request.To book the Company or an instructor for your special event, contact the director for more information.
